Latest Newsour mission at St. John rescue
St. John Rescue is an all volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives, providing community education and building a better way of life for the people of St. John.
Our Story
St. John Rescue, a non-profit organization, was incorporated on November 30, 1996 after meeting under a tree for a year following Hurricane Marilyn in 1995. We are an all-volunteer entity on the small island of St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, dedicated to providing emergency rescue and medical support services to St. John’s EMS, Police, Fire, National Park, and Health Clinic personnel.
Community CPR
Early first-aid/CPR assists in preventing the loss of life or serious injury. Current communication systems and the terrain on the island can delay rapid response to an emergency. St. John Rescue has setup numerous Community Based CPR/AED programs to assist the general public in providing early care in an emergency situation.
how to donate
We operate through the generosity of our community. There are many ways you can help St. John Rescue provide quality emergency and support services to the island of St John. Time, expertise, equipment and monetary donations are all welcome. It’s tax deductible. Find out how you can help.
